Federal Tax Posts – 02/28/18

A survey finds that employers have adapted to the recently enacted tax law changes but employees are concerned about how the changes affect them. According to the new American Payroll Association survey, employers had no problems meeting the Feb. 15 deadline to begin using 2018 federal income tax withholding tables to reflect the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act changes. But many employees are asking questions, including “Will I have enough taxes withheld from my paycheck to not owe taxes when I file in 2019?” and “Will I need to complete a new W-4 form?”
